1. How do I get started?

2. Are these legitimate leads?
Lead Hotline has been developed by financial professionals to produce the finest quality leads possible. That is, we asked ourselves “If we could create the perfect lead, what would it look like?” This is what we came up with… our “7-Point Lead Manifesto”:

A. Real Leads: The prospects are being solicited to receive information from a
Financial Services Representative. They know why they are calling and who they are calling, and they are not being misled into doing so by questionable techniques. Many of them begin asking questions about their own finances before you even get off the phone. Because the mailers are not “sales-ish” the prospects feel more comfortable that they are getting information from a professional, and not stepping into a misleading sales cycle.

B. Fresh: Our leads are generated at the time the producer buys it and not before.

C. Exclusive: These prospects are yours and yours alone. Fighting over prospects only drives the prospects away. Besides, if a lead program is selling leads to multiple people, you have to wonder why their lead generation techniques aren’t producing enough leads for everyone.

D. Positioned: Giving contact information for a lead to a producer to track down puts the producer in a position of weakness. With Lead Hotline you don’t have to call leads, let them call you. Then you already have permission to talk to them, and you don’t have to apologize for it.

E. Fast: You need appointments yesterday. If you call us today, we’ll get your cards in the mail tomorrow. Since they are mailed “first class” you will start receiving calls the same week. Call us Wednesday, and your phone will usually start ringing the following week.

F. Quantity: Let’s face it, no matter how wonderful these leads are, you still need to work to turn them into happy clients. There is considerable drop-off between the people who call and the people who become clients. The drop-off rate is reduced by the effectiveness of our process, but the fact remains… you won’t sell every lead. That simply means we need to give you as many leads as we possibly can. Through our marketing system, we will generate a constant flow of leads that will keep you prospecting, and jump-start your production!

3. What kind of leads are available?
We generate leads for financial service representatives (agents, brokers, advisors, etc.). We generate them in groups like pre-retiree, new retiree and active retiree. Give us a call for current product details.

4. Can I see sample cards?
If you would like to see the cards, simply give us a call at Lead Hotline and your Marketing Specialist will be happy to send you samples. We do not publish our cards online in an effort to protect our copyrighted information.

5. What do the cards look like?
They are standard size and style postcards. Full color with a nice semi-gloss finish. The copy/design on each card depends on the lead you are trying to generate.

6. How do I determine who/where to mail?
Your demographics for the RMD Card are Homeowners ages 67-71 with an annual income of $30,000 or higher. For the Retirement Income Card they are Homeowners ages 60-64 with an annual income of $30,000 or higher. Simply give us a call and let us know where you conduct business. We will send you a report detailing how many qualified prospects you have in each zip code in your area. You can then pick which zip codes you would like to mail, and the marketing package that best suits your needs.

7. How many cards can/should I mail?
When you give us the cities or counties in which you conduct business, we will send you a market research report detailing the amount of qualified people in each zip code. Simply choose which zip codes you would like and mail as many as you like with a 1,000 piece minimum. We do not mail partial zip codes. Choose whole zip codes and then add the zip codes together until you have reached the amount you would like to mail. This will ensure that you are mailing every possible prospect in your area and not missing anyone.

8. How much does it cost?

Introductory Rates (The Regular Unleaded Package) start at just $0.65 per card. There are several packages to choose from, most with reduced rates.  Please contact a Marketing Specialist to get the current rates.  Keep in mind, when we quote you a price that is including everything.  There are never any additional fees added in for our system. For instance, if you ordered 1201 RMD mailers at the Regular Unleaded package rate your total cost for that mailing would be $780.65.  Everything included!

9. What does the price include?
We include everything you need to generate qualified leads. Your price includes tested, proven design and copy, mailing list, mail services, first-class postage, our toll-free system, and a customized for you PDF and or MS Word version of any booklet offer that may be advertised on the card. We also include the set-up for the phone system that will route the prospects directly to you.

10. How many leads can I expect from my mailing?
Our system is designed to generate maximum response with qualified prospects. We cannot guarantee response rates due to the numerous variables in direct mail marketing. We recommend a small initial test mailing to determine what your local response will be.

11. When will I receive phone calls?
We set your Lead Hotline leads by your time zone. If the prospects call between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. in your time zone, they are connected to you. If they call too late or too early, we send them directly to voicemail and you can return the call when you like. On occasion, more timid or skeptical prospects like to call at late hours so they can “test the waters” and avoid speaking immediately to a live person. Our system takes this into consideration and makes sure your phone isn’t ringing at midnight!

12. Can I route my calls to my toll-free 1-800 number?
No, our system does not allow us to route calls directly to your toll-free 1-800 number. However, 1-800 numbers are typically associated with a local number. We will be more than happy to route your calls to that number or your cell phone.

13. Is there a script that I can use when people call me?
Yes. We suggest using a script that you are comfortable with, whether it’s the one we provide you or one you have written. With your order, we include information on why your prospects will be calling and how best to begin a conversation that may lead to an appointment.  We also have training videos, Best Practices, and training conference calls that will maximize your production with use of this marketing system.

14. What percentage of my mailing can I expect to turn into clients?
This will vary by agent. At Lead Hotline, we strive to deliver as many qualified prospects to you as possible. Our lead cards are clearly written, so you can rest assured that the people who are calling are doing so because they have financial questions that need to be addressed. They know they are calling a financial services representative.
Once they have called, it is in your hands. Some prospects will just want the information and will not want to do business. Some may be skeptical. Others are ready to discuss financial needs with a representative. We encourage you to “tweak”your conversion process, and over time you will learn how to best convert leads into happy clients.

15. Why are the leads calling?
This depends on the lead card you choose. For the RMD card, for example, they are calling because they are likely to have an IRA and do not have a financial services representative to answer their questions about it. They are also interested in receiving the free RMD booklet and possibly discussing it with a professional.

16. What should I do when I get a lead?
When you are connected to a lead, simply answer the call as you would any other business call. The caller will most likely begin the conversation by saying he/she received a card in the mail and would like the advertised booklet. Thank them for calling and take their name, address and phone number. Let them know who you are, what you do, and that you would like to deliver the booklet to them in person (at their home or your office) so you can explain the information in full, and also to answer any other financial questions you may be qualified to field.
Make sure they understand that you offer a free financial consultation with the booklet, and there is no cost or obligation for the booklet or the consultation.

17. What if they want an appointment?
Great! Schedule them on your calendar. When you meet with them, introduce yourself and go over the booklet with them to make sure they understand it. The topics in this booklet naturally lead any reader to think about their personal situation. If they feel comfortable with your expertise, you can then conduct a free consultation.

18. What if they don’t want an appointment?
Many people will prefer to receive the booklet offer first and then contact you with questions. It is completely normal for people to be skeptical, and doesn’t present a problem for you. Let them know you would be happy to send them the booklet.
Gather their contact info and mail them the booklet. Then simply follow up for a phone consultation. Make sure they received the booklet. Answer any questions they might have on the topics that are included. Let them know what services you offer and ask them if they would like a complimentary, no-obligation consultation to discuss the topic of the booklet as it pertains to their unique situation, plus any other situations you may be qualified to address.

19. How do I get connected to the lead?
You will receive a phone call. When you answer the call, you will hear an automated voice, which says: “Lead Hotline call from {your prospect’s telephone number here}. To accept the call, press #. To send the caller to voicemail, press *. ” If you are ready to accept the call, press #. You will hear a short beep and at that time you are connected to the caller. Answer the phone just as you would answer a business call.
If you are not ready to take the call, press *. Your prospect will hear a recorded message that says: “Thank you for calling. We apologize that no one is available to take your call at this time. Please record your name, telephone number, and address. Your local financial services representative (your name here), will call to confirm this information, and to ensure proper delivery of your Free Booklet.  Once again, thank you for calling.” If you do not answer the call, the caller is sent to the same message. After the prospect records his/her information, our system immediately emails the voicemail recording to you.

20. How do the leads come in?
When you placed your order, we assigned you a personal extension in our Lead Hotline system. We then print our toll-free number on the lead card with your personal extension. When the prospect receives the card in the mail, he/she calls the number and extension. The prospect is then connected to you.
Orders are mailed every Thursday or Friday. Your cards are mailed first class from Florida, so depending on where you are in the country you should begin receiving leads within 1-5 business days.
